  • FALL PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES

    As shared in our Bobcat Communicator, Parent-Teacher Fall Conferences at Beverly will be held on Monday, November 19 and Tuesday, November 20 from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. and 5:00- 8:00 P.M.  Our staff is looking forward to seeing all of you, as we share your child’s successes and goal set for the future. We realize this is a busy week and the days prior to Thanksgiving, so thank you in advance for planning your schedule around this event.  We know when school and home work in unison, our children’s successes are limitless!

    This year Beverly is utilizing PTCFast.com to make conference signups as convenient as possible. Please click on the link below or enter the following web address into your browser window:

    Once you click on the link, you will be asked to register through PTCFast and will then receive an email with a further link to schedule your child (ren)’s conference. If you do not receive the link, please check your SPAM folder.

    Please see the helpful information below when scheduling your conferences:

    • Fifth Grade Parents: Please refer to e-mails from your child’s teacher for instructions on how to schedule your conferences, as times may vary.
    • Ms. Arslanian (Media Specialist) will be available for Drop-In Conferences both Monday the 19th and Tuesday the 20th from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Media Center.
    • Ron Rodgerson (Band) and Bobby DeLisle (Orchestra) will be at Beverly for Drop-In Conferences on Tuesday, November 20, from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M.
    • Mrs. Buchanan (Vocal Music) teaches students in these classes: Mrs. Airgood, Ms. Broomfield, Mrs. Christ, Mrs. Copp, Mr. Iatrou, Mr. Maldonado, Mr. Paholak, Mrs. Pardington, Ms. Siegel, Mrs. Thomas, and Ms. Zahner.
    • Mrs. Jernigan (Vocal Music) teaches students in these classes: Mrs. Boeve, Mrs. Dickson, Ms. Fountain, Mrs. Knoper, Mrs. Morrison, and Ms. Palmer.
    • Ms. Jakab (Spanish) teaches students in these classes: Mrs. Boeve, Ms. Palmer, Mrs. Knoper, Ms. Zahner, and Mrs. Christ.
    • Mrs. Rose (Spanish) teaches students in these classes: Mrs. Dickson, Mr. Iatrou, Mr. Maldonado, Mr. Paholak, Mrs. Pardington, and Mrs. Thomas.

  • SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

     

    Our Scholastic Enchanted Forest Book Fair is right around the corner!

    • ALL FOR BOOKS Battle of the Grades coin contest November 5-9.
    • Kindergarten Pajama Party:  Tuesday, November 13 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.  Kindergarten students and their parents are invited to this special event.  Principal Vigneron will read stories to the kids and the Fair will be open to shop.
    • The Book Fair is open to all families on Thursday, November 15 & Friday, November 16 from 3:30pm-5pm and on Monday, November 19 & Tuesday, November 20 from 12pm-8pm. Stop in before or after conferences to check out your child’s wish list.
    • If you are unable to attend the fair in person, we invite you to visit our online fair from November 13th-30th at www.scholastic.com/fair

    Beverly Elementary thrives on a distinct, collaborative school community spirit. We are dedicated to preserving all of the essential elements of a true neighborhood school. We provide students with a safe, nurturing, warm and caring learning environment. Students have opportunities to explore a variety of interests, further develop their talents, hone leadership skills, and become intrinsically rewarded through community service.

    Our highly qualified staff is committed to helping each student discover their highest potential. We provide students with intellectually challenging instruction complimented by extraordinary art, music, physical education, Spanish, and media classes.

    Beverly Elementary learners develop the knowledge, habits and perspectives that produce high achieving, critically thinking, problem-solvers that are well equipped to flourish in the age of globalization. Our curriculum and instruction serve as the foundation for cultivating intellectual curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning.
