West Maple Elementary has been named the 2023 National School Library of the Year by the American Association of School Librarians.

Three BPS schools recognized as 'School of Character'
The trio of BPS schools could eventually earn national designee status. Schools recognized as national “Schools of Character” will be announced in May and ultimately honored during the organization’s annual forum in Washington D.C. in the fall.

Groves Trio Earn All-State Honors
Student musicians from the entire state audition for one of the 400 coveted seats in the five ensembles. On average, more than 2,500 middle school and high school students audition reach academic year for MSBOA.

Betts accepts president-elect nomination w/ MASL

BPS achieves clean audit
The district received a clean audit from audit firm Plante Moran on both its financial statement and its involvement in federal programs such as the Education Stabilization Fund.
