BCS Registration dates were August 10 and August 15. If you have not registered your student, please contact Nancy Best at 248-203-4452 to set up an appointment. All students must register prior to the first day of school. Regisration packets were sent home at the beginning of August. The additional forms needed may be found under the Parent tab/Registration.
Time to Update Your BCS Directory Information
It is time to update your BCS Directory information. Whether you are new to the school, have an existing student, or are adding a student, the link is the same for everyone.
To update your directory information for the 2017-2018 school year. Please click: https://www.myschoolanywhere.com/new-family.a5w?fam=BirminghamCovingtonSchool1326. Families who are new to BCS will create a new directory listing. Families who have previously entered information into the system will be asked if they will like an email link sent to them. Existing families, please scroll to the bottom of the email and click on the link. This will then let you update your directory information.
2017-2017 Quarter I Choice Hour
Quarter I Choice Hour lists will be posted on the board at BCS by August 10, the first Back to School Registration date. If you have not already turned in a Selection Sheet and plan on staying for Choice Hour in the Fall, please send in the forms as soon as possible. All of the forms may be found on the following link. The Birmingham Covington Districtwide 3-8 School (BCS) is a 3-8 districtwide school of choice for families residing in the Birmingham Public School District. It is designed to offer a clear choice in educational structure and philosophy to parents/guardians and children seeking a rigorous academic challenge. BCS has a special emphasis on comprehensive science and technology instruction based on the Association for the Advancement of Science report, Project 2061, and enGauge: 21st Century Skills.
