GROVES STUDENT PARKING
Groves juniors and seniors may apply for a parking permit using either the online form or the paper application. Whether online, on paper or a combination of both, there are two initial parts to the parking registration process: 1) providing the vehicle information and 2) paying the parking permit fee.
1. Complete the Groves online parking registration or complete and sign the paper Parking Application.
2. After completing online parking registration, print confirmation AND electronic payment receipt.
3. Along with the completed paper application or printed online confirmation and/or online payment receipt, bring your driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance (and parking permit fee) to the in-person registration at the designated date and time.
4. Permit fee may be payed online by electronic payment or in person by cash or check payable to Groves High School. An additional service fee will be added to online payments.
Parking Fee Increase
Beginning with the 2019-20 school year, BPS increased the high school student parking permit fee to $95. The decision was made following the review of fees across the District. Groves student parking guidelines, policies and procedures to obtain and maintain a parking permit remain the same. Each August, Groves families are emailed with online registration information. At that time, juniors and seniors may apply online for a parking permit for the upcoming school year. Be sure to review the Parking Guidelines at https://www.birmingham.k12.mi.us/Page/9019. Details about the dates, times and locations of the in-person registration sessions will be provided in the communications sent to families each August.
