Parents are invited to meet their child's teacher and hear about what they'll be learning this year at Beverly School's Curriculum Night on Tuesday, September 26. The schedule for the class meetings is as follows:
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades: 6:00 - 6:45 pm
3rd, 4th and 5th Grades: 6:45 - 7:30 pm
All class meetings begin in your child's classroom. Please be prompt!
In addition, Principal Dr. Hitchcock and Instructional Specialist Mr. Stamm will be available in the Media Center from 5:30 - 6:00 pm to answer any questions you may have regarding the 3rd Grade Reading Bill recently passed by the state legislature.
DELAYED START: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
On Thursday, September 28, school will not begin until 10:19 am, as the teaching staff will be participating in professional development. If you are in need of child care for that morning, Beverly Kids Club can help! The students will participate in a variety of fun activities: arts/crafts, games and gym time.
Regular Kids Club users may register for the extended time through the SchoolCareWorks system. Select the AM session PLUS the Delayed Start session for an additional $5 fee.
Families not registered for Kids Club may register for the Delayed Start child care (8:45 am—10:19 am) for $5/child. Complete the Delayed Start Child Care Registration form and submit with cash/check payable to Beverly Community Education by Monday, September 25.
Purpose Statement: A positive learning experience that ensures respect, cooperation and communication where all students become literate, adaptive, creative and contributing members of our society.
