I am very excited to be part of the Harlan school this year.  I have been a part of the Birmingham Public schools since 2003. .  Our school community is truly amazing.  We are fortunate to have phenomenal students and families as well as staff who are dedicated to making Harlan  the great school it is today.  Our staff focuses on engaging lessons that address multiple models of learning,allowing students to research, explore and learn at high levels.  As a school community, we foster an environment where everyone feels safe and supported and make character education the fabric of our school.  We have family groups called,HuskyPacks,  town halls, and classroom communities.We strive to have our students be excited about school while thriving academically, socially and emotionally.. We are #Better together,
