I started teaching in 2002 as a high school biology and science teacher.  After earning my masters degree in Library Science, I became and elementary school librarian.  I now serve on the board for the Michigan Association of Media Educators and I also serve as a member of Michigan's School Library Workgroup to ensure the best services for our students.

I have three children, one husband, two dogs and one guinea pig.  We like to watch movies, play games, and read books.  We all really like Star Wars.

My best day is when I help a student find exactly the right book or technology tool to use.  I am thrilled to be at West Maple this year!
