Ms. Julie is in her first year at the Early Childhood Center. She earned her Elementary Education degree from Aquinas College where she majored in Special Education and earned her Master's of Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Oakland University. Ms. Julie has 17 years of teaching experience with the last 15 years being spent in Birmingham Public Schools. "I love teaching because I love that every day is new and exciting! Watching the growth of the students is so rewarding."

Ms. Caroline has worked for BPS for two years and this is her first year at the Early Childhood Center. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She has seven years of experience working with children, mainly with those that have special needs.  "I have always loved working with kids, especially ones that needed a little extra help. Watching them understand something new and reach a goal that they have is so rewarding."

Ms. Regina is in her first year working at the Birmingham Early Childhood Center. She attended Keiser Career College to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Additionally, she's acquired a Paraprofessional certificate along with 23 years of experience in various Special and General Education classrooms ranging from 4 months to 14 years of age.  "I enjoy being a teacher because I'm a child at heart. I can relate to the needs and concerns of my students. You must have a deep love for each student, their personal growth and development, display patience regarding delays in learning abilities and personal preferences of each student for successful development."

Ms. Sarah is in her first year at the Early Childhood Center. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Eastern Michigan University. Ms. Sarah has 4 years experience teaching preschool.  "If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you."
