      100 Mensches Scholarship. One $1,000 and one $500 to be awarded. application & criteria can be found at 100mensches.org 

      AAA School Safety Patrol Scholarship Program. Scholarships of $2,500 will be awarded to two graduating seniors attending a Michigan public, private or charter high school.  Students must show proof of AAA Michigan School Safety Patrol participation in elementary or middle school, good academic standing and a strong record of involvement in the community and/or extra-curricular activities.  A personal letter of introduction must be included describing community and extra-curricular activities and what being a Safety Patroller meant to them.  Please be aware that AAA Michigan will accept only one applicant per school and the application must be signed by a Principal or Counselor.       Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies.  The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the requirements of having a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character. Two years of caddying experience is required at certain clubs. (Juniors pondering caddying another summer might want to consider this as a possibility).

      MSU Michigan Resident Scholarship of up to $1,500 annually.  Beginning with the fall 2021 class, all admitted Michigan students will be automatically considered for this new scholarship.       Point Foundation - The National LBGTQ Scholarship Fund

      The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program is the United States’ largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.       Western Michigan University Admitted students are encouraged to utilize ScholarshipUniverse to review and apply for additional scholarships. ScholarshipUniverse is WMU's scholarship matching tool and can be used to search for internal and external scholarships. Students will need to use their Bronco NetID and password to login. Students can find out about setting up their Bronco NetID password online.

      Wylie E. Groves Counseling Scholarship Award Amount: Award Amount:  $500 one time amount to two Groves graduating seniors. Closed for 2021.  

      • A Groves graduating senior accepted to a post-secondary school: trade school, 2-year or 4year college.
      • No GPA is required. The ideal recipient should be a well-rounded student who represents the characteristics of the GROVES way
      • Prompt for Essay: How do you exemplify the characteristics of  The Groves Way? Please give at least one specific example.
      • Format:  250 word typed essay. Please turn in a hard copy of the essay to your counselor. 

      About Groves’ Counseling Department:  As Groves High School Counselors, we are dedicated to supporting the needs of our students. We focus on developing student academic, career and social/emotional development through American School Counselor Association (ASCA). It is our hope that each and every Groves graduate achieves high success and leads a fulfilling life as a responsible member of society.
