Homework Requests For School-Related Trips
Students are expected to complete all homework either in advance or following a school-related trip. Teachers are asked to cooperate and notify students of their assignments when possible. Students must understand that they are responsible for everything that happens in class while they are absent. This will require that they check with teachers upon their return for notes or any other information. Students who are unable to meet these expectations are
discouraged from taking school trips. In addition, any time students miss all or part of a school day for school-related activities, family obligations, field trips, etc. it is their responsibility to notify their teachers a week before if possible. Teachers are asked to make students aware of work missed either before or after the absence, depending on the material being covered. Again,
the responsibility for work missed is up to the student.
