Detention Policy

Detentions may be held before the school day begins, at lunch/rec, after dismissal, or during Saturday detentions, which are held periodically from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Parents will be given a written notice and/or contacted by phone. If a child is unable to serve the detention on the day it is assigned, the school must be contacted and another day is scheduled. If detentions are skipped, additional consequences can apply. Lunch detentions do not require the 
use of detention forms or parent notification.
