If your child will be absent or tardy, please report it to school by 8:45 am on the day of absence/tardiness.  You may call or email.  See below…..

TARDINESS
All students arriving at school AFTER 8:49am are to report to the main office before going to their classroom.  Parents must sign the child in and students must take a Tardy Pass to class.
 
CHILDREN LEAVING WHILE SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
Children are not permitted to go home by themselves while school is in session.  This policy is intended for the protection of the child.
 
When it becomes necessary for a child to go home due to illness or a pre-arranged appointment, a parent or other responsible person designated by the parent must come into the office to sign out the child.
 
Parents are reminded to make dental and medical appointments for children after school hours, whenever possible.  Please send an email to the teacher regarding pre-arranged absences.
 
 
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS MAINTAIN GOOD ATTENDANCE AND ARRIVE TO SCHOOL ON TIME EVERY DAY.  EXCESSIVE ABSENTEEISM AND TARDINESS IS DETRIMENTAL TO A STUDENT’S ABILITY TO ACHIEVE HIS/HER HIGHEST LEVEL.
