In this Court Cases, students will explore the development of the Constitution and its impact on future generations. Students will connect the origins of the United States to foundations of law, and investigate the social, economic, political, and legal developments affecting the interpretation of the Constitution from its formative years through the modern day. Students will develop an understanding of the evolutionary nature of both the Supreme Court and the Constitution, and how these decisions impact their world. An interactive, participatory approach to learning is emphasized, including debate, mock court simulations, and socratic discussions.
