CHILDREN LEAVING WHILE SCHOOL IS IN SESSION Children are not permitted to go home by themselves while school is in session. This policy is intended for the protection of the child. When it becomes necessary for a child to go home due to illness or pre-arranged appointment, a parent or other responsible person designated by the parent must come into the office to sign out the child. Parents are reminded to make dental and medical appointment for children after school hours, whenever possible. Please send an email to the teacher regarding pre-arranged absences.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS MAINTAIN GOOD ATTENDANCE AND ARRIVE TO SCHOOL ON TIME EVERY DAY. EXCESSIVE ABSENTEEISM AND TARDINESS IS DETRIMENTAL TO A STUDENT’S ABILITY TO ACHIEVE HIS/HER HIGHEST LEVEL.
