BA in English and Elementary Education Masters in Curriculum and Assessment
Miss Wind
I grew up in the Birmingham School District. I was fortunate enough to attend Beverly, Berkshire, and then graduated from Groves High School. From there I attended Madonna University in Livonia, MI on a volleyball scholarship. I had an amazing four years playing college volleyball. I graduated with my teaching degree from Madonna in 2003. I also finished my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Assessment shortly after I was hired at Quarton.
In my spare time I enjoy playing and watching all types of sports. I love going to all the local sporting events. I am a huge Michigan State, Tigers, and Red Wing fan. I also have a golden retriever named Toby. Toby is a certified therapy dog which means he is able to visit hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, and schools. We currently volunteer a couple times a week at Royal Oak Beaumont and also Beaumont's Children Hospital visiting patients, family visitors, and staff.
I absolutely love children and I have known since I was in second grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I love my profession and getting to know each of my students individually.
