In Order to avoid the spread of illness, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Keep your child home from school when sick until at least 24 hours after they:

    • No longer have a fever over 100.4 or signs of a fever (chills, feeling very warm, flushed appearance, or sweating) without the use of fever-reducing medicine.
    • Has your child been symptom free (diarrhea and/or vomiting)?

    TARDINESS
All students arriving at school AFTER 8:49am are to report to the main office before going to their classroom.  Parents must sign the child in on the provided pink form on the desk.

CHILDREN LEAVING WHILE SCHOOL IS IN SESSION
Children are not permitted to go home by themselves while school is in session.  This policy is intended for the protection of the child.

When it becomes necessary for a child to go home due to illness or a pre-arranged appointment, a parent or other responsible person designated by the parent must come into the office to sign out the child.

Parents are reminded to make dental and medical appointments for children after school hours, whenever possible.  Please send an email to the teacher regarding pre-arranged absences or early dismissals, in addition to completing the Google form.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS MAINTAIN GOOD ATTENDANCE AND ARRIVE TO SCHOOL ON TIME EVERY DAY.  EXCESSIVE ABSENTEEISM AND TARDINESS IS DETRIMENTAL TO A STUDENT’S ABILITY TO ACHIEVE HIS/HER HIGHEST LEVEL, AS WELL AS IT IS A DISRUPTION TO THE LEARNING TAKING PLACE IN THE CLASSROOM.
