In this class... just do your work... do it well... and learn from your mistakes... It is quite simple.
* I do NOT offer extra credit as this covers up mistakes... mistakes are at the heart of learning... So, why would we cover them up? I suggest you embrace your mistakes, learn your life lesson, and move forward...
* If you are looking to earn "extra challenge" points, you must choose a Tier #2 or Tier #3 assignment... These choices add points to your overall score by rewarding students that go above and beyond the MINIMUM expectations...
Example of how each TIER is scored...
Tier 1 Points earned on assessment
86 points out of 100 points possible = 86 points on powerschool
Tier 2 Points earned on assessment + (Points earned times .075)
86 points out of 100 points possible + (86 *.075 = 6.45) = 92.45 points
Tier 3 Points earned on assessment + (Points earned times .150
86 points out of 100 points possible + (86 *.150 = 12.9) = 98 points
Students must develop a plan to connect their idea for a challenge project to our essential question in the chapter of study….
