Co-curricular trips are an integral part of a student's educational experience. Our 5th grade camp is planned to provide educational experiences as extensions of the core academic program at Beverly Elementary School. To have a safe and enjoyable 5th grade camp experience, it is imperative that we receive all of the appropriate documentation from parents/guardians. Please read, complete and return the following documents to your child's teacher no later than Friday, September 6, 2019:
Camp Tamarack is a Kosher facility. All meals are provided by Camp Tamarack. Students will not be allowed to bring food/snacks. However, if your child has special food needs and you would like to communicate directly with the Camp Tamarack dietitian, please contact the dietitian at Camp Tamarack.
Students will be encouraged to bring cameras only, preferably disposable cameras. Other electronic devices will not be allowed. If students need to contact parents/guardians, all chaperones will have access to phones. If parents are interested in getting a glimpse of their child's camp experience, please consider following @Beverly_Bobcats
on Twitter or by clicking onto our Twitter feed located on the bottom of our Beverly Elementary homepage
Students share a heated cabin with 10-12 other classmates of the same gender. The cabins are equipped with bunk beds and students are able to provide input on the names of cabinmates that they feel most comfortable sharing a cabin with during camp. If you have questions about cabin assignments, please contact Mrs. Thomas
. Mrs. Thomas makes every effort to ensure that all students feel comfortable with their cabinmate assignments prior to our departure.
