Amy Hochkammer

Amy is a proud graduate of Groves High School. She went on to receive a BA in English from Lawrence University in Wisconsin. After college, Hochkammer spent 25 years working in banking and finance. She was a VP at Comerica Securities and retired from Morgan Stanley in 2017 before running for the Board of Education. She served in numerous volunteer positions throughout BPS, and is currently the Vice President of the Oakland County School Boards Association. She and her husband, Karl, live in Birmingham and have two children who graduated from Seaholm High School.

Jennifer Rass

Jennifer is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and has more than 20 years of corporate communications, public relations and business operations experience. She is a past PTA president, Reflections chair and room parent. She also serves as Birmingham Education Foundation trustee, Sigma Kappa Foundation trustee, Board Member of Birmingham Youth Assistance and Walk Chair for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). She lives in Beverly Hills with her husband, Eric, and two children.

Luke Joseph

Luke holds a BA of Science in Accounting and Finance from Oakland University with a Masters in Taxation from Walsh College. He is a former faculty member of the University of Phoenix and has been involved in various charity work, including the Lions Club, the Special Olympics, and the Salvation Army. Luke is a Parish Council Member and serves on the Birmingham Housing Board of Appeals Committee and is a licensed realtor. Currently, he is an active committee member on the Legislative, Friends, Finance and OCSBA Committees. Luke is the proud father of two children in the District.

Lori Ajlouny

Lori is a WSU graduate with over 30 years in education, and is a Groves alumnae. While actively teaching in Birmingham, Lori served on curriculum committees, SALT, School Improvement Committee, District Math and Social Studies and the Strategic Planning Committee. As a Board trustee, she has served as President and Vice President. Currently she is an active committee member on BAAFN, Bond Committee, Diversity and Character Education, Facilities Assessment Committee and Board Nominating Committee. Lori is a longtime resident of Birmingham and lives with her husband and their four children.

Nicole McKinney

Nicole McKinney is a nonprofit executive with more than 20 years' experience in various leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, with the past decade of her career focused on youth development and marginalized communities. Prior to joining the Board, she served on the executive Committee and was Legislative Co-Chair of the Greenfield Elementary PTA. McKinney also represents School Board members on the State Teacher Tenure Commission as an appointee by Governor Greten Whitmer. She is also the parent of one child in the district.

Nicole Spencer

Nicole is a graduate of Alma College and Wayne State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a Master’s degree in library and information science, respectively. She has twenty years of experience in the education field, working as a classroom teacher and school library media specialist. Nicole volunteers at her son’s school and is the PTA Reflections co-chair. She lives in Beverly Hills with her husband Christian, who is a Groves graduate, and their son.

Colleen Zammit

Colleen graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Behavior. After living away for several years for work, she and her husband, a Groves graduate, moved home in 2009 to raise their family. She has dedicated herself to raising her kids while volunteering in her parish and the school district. She currently teaches fourth grade catechism. She helped bring the disability awareness workshop back into our elementary schools in 2022, and served on the review committee for the BPS five-year strategic plan. She lives in Beverly Hills with her husband and their three children.
