Birmingham Public Schools takes great pride in the outstanding athletes and athletic departments within the district. Whether it's BPS students crossing the finish line, scoring goals, supporting their teammates, or uniting the community, the sports programs in the district provide ample opportunities to exceed boundaries.

Athletic Registration
Athletic registration includes two steps.
Please note: Step two: The payment window does not open until after the first week of the season. All rostered athletes are required to pay the Pay to Participate fee after by the end of the first month.
Registration Steps
Physical
As a reminder, a medical form for athletic clearance must be submitted prior to participating. A pre-participation physical must be completed on or after April 15, 2025 to be valid for the 2025-2026 academic year. For details, contact your respective athletic director.
