Football Season Kicks Off at the Big House and Wayne State
The 2026 football season is set to begin in unforgettable fashion for both Birmingham Public Schools high schools!
The Seaholm Maples will kick off their season at one of the most iconic venues in college football, taking on Milford at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. The game is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29, with kickoff at noon. Don't miss this unique opportunity to cheer on the Maples as they play at the legendary Big House.
The Groves Falcons will also open their season on a big stage, facing North Farmington at Wayne State University in Detroit. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28. Be sure to wear your green and white and help fill the stands with Falcon pride as Groves begins its 2026 campaign.
