Returning Student Registration is Open

Returning student registration for the 2026-2027 school year opened on August 7 through PowerSchool Forms. Completing this process helps Birmingham Public Schools ensure your student's information is accurate and up to date before the first day of school.

What to do and by when

Families should complete returning student registration by August 30. If you have more than one child enrolled in BPS, you will need to complete the process separately for each student.

If you completed returning student registration last year, the process should feel familiar. Families who are new to PowerSchool Forms or need a refresher can use the step-by-step instructions provided to guide them through the process.

Who does this apply to?

Please note that this process is only for students returning to Birmingham Public Schools from the previous school year. Families with students who are new to the district have already completed the enrollment process and do not need to complete returning student registration.
