Seaholm High School American Sign Language (ASL) teacher Josh Dodge applied for and received a $600 grant to support bringing a deaf-blind speaker to Birmingham Public Schools this December.
The speaker will offer a perspective into a world many people cannot imagine and will address the ASL 1, 2 and 3 classes about deaf-blind culture and experience.
