Hello from Room 207!  My name is Dawn Leslie and I am proud to be a Harlan Husky! I’ve been teaching at Harlan Elementary for over 20 years! I’ve been fortunate to teach grades 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th.  I currently teach 4^th grade and enjoy seeing my students grow as individuals as the year goes on.

I believe my role as an elementary teacher is to nurture and encourage the learning of my students. Through classroom discussion, hands-on activities, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and critically. I want my students to know that they are important members of our classroom community.

While I’m away from school, I enjoy spending time outdoors and going on adventures with my family.  You can often find me on the tennis court, golf course, mountain bike trails, or carving turns down the snow-covered hills!

I look forward to a fabulous year in 4^th grade!
