Welcome to Mrs. West’s 2^nd Grade class!  I strive for my classroom to be a comfortable and positive learning environment for all of my students.  I look forward each year to fostering the development of independent and responsible learners.  I work with the students each year to become good problem solvers and intrinsically motivated decision makers.  I eagerly anticipate meeting the diverse needs of all my students by establishing a workshop model in my classroom, so that students are able to move through tasks at their own speed.
