    2017-2018 8th Grade Celebration Planning

    Planning for the Class of 2018 8th Grade Celebration is underway.  Come to a meeting and learn how you can participate.  Our subcommittees include:  Ceremony/Video, Reception, Dance, Fundraisers, and Last Day Breakfast.  We have many areas where we can put your talents to use!

    Several Special Awards are given to graduating 8th graders each year. These awards are chosen by the staff at BCS who comes into contact with them on a regular basis. Here is the List of Special 8th Grade Awards.

    HOW TO GET INVOLVED / VOLUNTEER
    We are looking for 8th grade parents to join our committees.  If you are interested in joining a planning committee, please sign up at this link: Sign Up Closed

    We are also in need of volunteers to help with bagel sales on Tuesday mornings.  Bagel sales are our largest fundraiser.  If you are available, please sign up using this link:  Sign Up Closed

    We will be soliciting volunteers to help during the "Week Of". That SignUp Genius is sent out via eNews in the weeks prior to the event.

    2017-2018 Information and Important Dates

    General Information
    This year’s 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony and Farewell Celebration will take place on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.  The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm, light appetizers and desserts will be served at 7:30pm, and the 8th grade (student only) party will take place from 8:00 – 10:00pm.

    "Week of" Volunteer Information
    We need 15+ 7th and 8th grade parents to assist on June 11th and 12th with setting up the gym for the ceremony, decorating, and chaperoning and cleaning up after the party/dance.
    - Monday, June 11: Rehearsal, 2:00pm in the Gym
    - Tuesday, June 12: Ceremony & Setup

    Friday, March 23rd - Photos Due March 23rd for the Then/Now 8th Grade Farewell Video. Information on Then/Now Video

    Wednesday, May 16th - Taping of Walk Out Video from 1:10pm-1:40pm. Rain Date TBD. Information on Walk Out Video.

    Monday, June 11th
    Graduation Rehearsal during the school day. (Students Only)

    Tuesday, June 12th
