Ms. Scurti is excited to be a part of the Groves family! Now in her fourth year as a part of the Groves Family! She's involved in many things all around BPS including: assistant directing the fall 2020 Fright Fest; coaching Forensic and Debate at Berkshire Middle School and coaching Forensic again at Groves this year! Ms. Scurti has previously taught in Eastpointe, Dearborn Heights, Huron Valley and Detroit and is beyond thrilled that Groves is "home". Ms. Scurti is a graduate of Central Michigan University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Education, with endorsements in Speech, Theater and English. She is also a graduate of Wayne State University, where she received her Masters of Education in English. In her spare time (when she isn't planning lessons or checking papers!) Ms. Scurti likes to read, listen to music, sing karaoke and hang out with her family and friends; including her parents and her "baby" brother Joe who now has two adorable children of his own!
