Hello!  Welcome to the Greenfield Art Site!  It is such a joy teaching art at Greenfield Elementary School!  I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to share love of art, craft, and design with my students this year. During the course of the school year, we will create projects using a variety of media such as: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, mixed-media and technology. They will also become familiar with some of the many careers in art and be able to recognize works from artists all around the world.

 Through the exploration of visual arts, students will develop a greater awareness of the world around them, learn and practice creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and discover the many ways that art influences our daily lives.

 The projects we will make in class are all designed to nurture and strengthen students’ creativity. My goal is to get kids excited about the idea of creating things, so that long after they leave the art room they are inspired to continue to explore and create on their own!
