Welcome to our class!  
One of my greatest joys as an educator is sharing my interest in literature with my students. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an English major from Wayne State University. In addition, I hold a Master’s Degree in Reading and Language Arts from Oakland University with a Reading Specialist endorsement. I have taught middle school Language Arts for 22 years with a specific focus on developing effective reading and writing skills. 

I am looking forward to many hands-on and motivating experiences as we delve into the world of literature!
