Greenfield Preschool is a half-day, play-based program for children ages 3 and 4.  Children learn and explore in an age-appropriate and engaging environment.  The High Scope curriculum aligns with the Early Childhood Standards of Quality for the State of Michigan. A strong foundation for school readiness, to enhance cognitive, physical and social-emotional learning is the focus of our high-quality programs. The highly qualified teachers plan the days to cover the different areas of development:  physical; cognitive; language, communication and literacy; interpersonal skills and relationships; creative arts; dramatic play; and construction.

The preschool program located at Greenfield Elementary School is tuition-based and licensed by the State of Michigan.  Greenfield's preschool lead teachers have master's degrees, with Early Childhood endorsements, and hold current Michigan State teaching certificates, our co-teachers hold masters' degrees and all have extensive experience working with young children. The maximum staff to child ratio is 1:8.  Greenfield Preschool is a school year program, beginning in September and ending in June.
