    How to View
    Our community can watch the live BPS Board of Education regular meetings and study sessions by visiting https://www.youtube.com/user/BirminghamPS or going directly to YouTube.com and searching for BirminghamPS. We have taken the necessary steps to enable our Board of Education members and Central Leadership Team to host this meeting remotely, honoring our current social distancing restrictions while continuing this essential work.

    Requests to Comment
    New Public Comment Guidelines Due to COVID-19 Closure:
    All public comments must be submitted in advance to fmershman@birmingham.k12.mi.us by 2 p.m. on Aug. 3. Comments received after should be communicated directly with the Board of Education via the email addresses found on our District website and will not be read during this meeting.

    Comments that are longer than 3-minutes in length will not be read in their entirety but will remain with the Board for its attention.

    Public Comment – Existing Standards
    Because the Birmingham Board of Education values public meetings, not just meetings in public, we welcome public comment on school issues.  Most comments can be concisely stated in 3 minutes and the Board respectfully asks that comments remain focused on the topic or issue and not on specific personnel.
