Virtual Middle School

  • The Birmingham Virtual Academy Middle School Program provides students with an opportunity to learn from award-winning Birmingham Public School teachers in an online environment. While engaging in the Birmingham Public School’s rigorous curriculum, students will engage in live lessons, collaborative learning experiences with other online students, and activities that will build classroom culture and support each student’s social-emotional development. Our BVA program offers a well-rounded middle school experience, maintaining the option for students to participate in BPS sports, clubs, and other extracurricular activities at the school in which they would normally be enrolled. The Middle School BVA offers instruction, engagement, and enrichment for those who thrive in a virtual environment!
