Birmingham Public Schools works to provide our parents, community members and the public with information about events, accolades and news relevant to their lives. Each week while school is in session, the district provides our community with an e-newsletter dedicated to keeping our public informed.
Parents and staff members in the district are automatically signed up for the weekly newsletter from the school their child attends as well as the district. There is no need to create an account, but correct contact information should be provided to your child(s) school.
If you are not receiving eNews, but have a child associated with a BPS building, please:
1. check with your school first to ensure that you have the correct email address(es) on file.
2. contact Kathy Juriga at email@example.com if further investigation is needed.
Anyone can opt out of eNews at any time by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or by selecting the "unsubscribe" link on the bottom of the eNews email. Selecting "unsubscribe" opts the email out of all school and district email communications.
Community members or those without a child in the district can sign up for eNews by visiting our BPS Portal at bpsenews.bbcportal.com
and selecting the schools to receive news from and clicking the sign up link.
You'll find the latest editions of eNews linked on the right of this page for those using a desktop or laptop, or by selecting "Pages" near the upper left hand corner on a mobile device and then the plus sign next to "BPS ENEWS" to navigate through the menu.
