Dear Berkshire Parents:
Berkshire Middle School welcomes you to the 2023-2024 school year!
We cordially invite and encourage you to join the PTA. Every family membership enhances our children’s middle school experience. Participating in the PTA is also a great way to take an active role in your child’s education and connect with teachers, staff, and other Berkshire families. There are various ways to get involved at the level you are able and willing to give, including one-time events and recurring opportunities. In the past year, the Berkshire Middle School PTA has used membership dues to support a wide range of activities and enrichments serving our students, including field trips, technology, club activities, gym equipment, and an impactful character-building day for 7th graders called Challenge Day, in partnership with the Birmingham Education Foundation (BEF).

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fosters a partnership between the school and the home, to help build this sense of community. Parents and staff work together to create a safe and nurturing place for our children by supporting special events, contributing to school costs such as field trips and school supplies and other needed support.
We hope you will consider being part of this year's PTA! Your support is needed and appreciated.
