Community Service is ongoing at Berkshire. Student led activities and projects keep the Berkshire community busy by helping others throughout the year. Plus, Berkshire has a community garden, and all produce is donated to local soup kitchens and food banks.
Diversity is celebrated at Berkshire with numerous programs that highlight respecting differences and being kind to all. Assemblies, projects and speakers address the importance of being respectful.
Character Education is district-wide and focuses on: Positive Attitude, Honesty and Integrity, Respect and
Kindness, and Responsibility and Accountability. We feature special assemblies focusing on character building. Many of our school projects and activities incorporate our Character Education focus.
