Welcome to Mr. Durham's Classroom Webpage.  This is my 18th year at Berkshire, where I currently teach 7th Grade Social Studies & coach football.  The Social Studies Education program in BPS is based on a program from Teacher's Curriculum Institute called Geography Alive.  The curriculum is geography based, with implementation of civics, history, and economics throughout the lessons.  We cover most of the world, including: United States & Canada, Latin America, Europe & Russia, Africa, Antarctica, Southern and Central Asia, & Monsoon Asia.   

We use all kinds of webpages and apps throughout the year.  We currently have 32 IPads for use in our class, as well as access to laptops and computer labs within the building.  Tests and quizzes will be take both on paper and online, with every student having access to a real text book, as well as to the online version.
