COVID-19 PROTOCOL

BPS health guidance of the Oakland County Health Division (OCHD), the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Strategies to prevent the spread of illness to others include staying home when sick, testing when experiencing respiratory symptoms (cough, sneezing, congestion, runny nose, fever), not coming to school if fever (100.4 or higher) is present and waiting for at least 24 hours after fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medications and overall symptoms have improved before returning to school. The OCHD continues to strongly recommend that anyone recovering from respiratory illness wear a mask for five days upon returning to normal activities as a precaution to prevent the spread of illness to others.

Testing is available at the Education and Administration Center at 31301 Evergreen Road, Beverly Hills. A parent/legal guardian must accompany their minor child for an antigen test to be performed and signed consent must be obtained. Results are available in 15-30 minutes. Please call 947.235.1064 to schedule an antigen test to be performed by a registered nurse. Tests for at-home usage are available in the main office of each school building at no cost. If you need a test, please stop by your student’s school to pick up a kit.
