BPS Career Focused Education - Find your passion!
Career Focused Education gives students opportunities to explore the world of career possibilities through guest speakers, field trips, job shadowing experiences and internships. They explore what the world of work looks like in field areas they may just be learning about, or in areas for which they may have already developed a passion.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are offered at both Groves and Seaholm High Schools. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and continuing education opportunities and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers, counselors, and cooperative education coordinators. Students are able to access programs at either school via the student shuttle bus that runs between each building, each hour. For juniors and seniors, courses at Oakland Schools Technical Campus (OSTC) is another option. Please see the Groves Course Catalog or Seaholm Course Catalog for more information.
