"Mrs. Davis began her teaching career in 2002 as an elementary Spanish teacher at BCS. In 2004, she began teaching on the 3/4 team with Tom Seley as her partner teacher.
Mrs. Davis earned her master's degree in special education through Oakland University with an endorsement in special education, grade K-12, learning disabilities. Her bachelor’s degree is in elementary education from Western Michigan University, with a major in Spanish and minors in math and science. She also studied abroad for four months at La Universidad de Burgos in Burgos, Spain. Mrs. Davis is certified to teach all subjects grades K-5, science grades K-8, math grades K-8, Spanish grades K-8, and special education grades K-12.
At home, she has a husband, Gary; a son, Isaac (born in 2009); a daughter, Hannah (born in 2012); and two dogs. Together, her family enjoys going to the zoo, playing at parks, camping, taking long walks, doing home improvement projects, and spending time with family and friends. Some hobbies she enjoys are reading, cooking, and gardening.
At school, Mrs. Davis is passionate about project-based-learning, meaningful technology integration, and guiding students as they grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Mrs. Davis loves kids, loves teaching, and loves BCS."
