Michigan School Vocal Music Association - Perfect Score!
Groves junior, Jaedon Salata, participated in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association District Solo & Ensemble competition on Saturday, January 15 at Milford High School. She earned a first division rating with a PERFECT score and will participate in the state Solo & Ensemble competition in the spring. Congratulations, Jaedon!
2022 National Merit Scholarship Competition
All five Seaholm HS seniors, Adam Fischer, Lily Fischer, Sarah Hubbard, Evelyn Wilson, & Brady Wright, who were recognized as semifinalists in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Competition have been named finalists. These finalists will now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million that will be offered in the spring.

These finalists will now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $30 million that will be offered in the spring.
These students are among 15,000 nationwide named finalists, representing less than one percent of high school seniors in the United States. Over 1.5 million juniors in about 21,000 high schools entered the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
Groves Performing Arts Company
Groves Performing Arts Company competed at the MIFA One Act Theatre competition in February. Theatre 5 presented the play Bystander 9/11: A Theatre Piece Concerning the Events of
September 11, 2001 by Meron Langsner. They came in 1st Place for Division 1: Studio and therefore are state champions for the one act theatre competition. The entire cast received a Superior award for their Ensemble Performance. The Narrators also received a Superior award for their work.
