CLEAR TO GO
Clear to Go must be completed by 8:00 am each day for every staff and student entering the building. We need about 1 hour to process the information and identify individuals who have not submitted a successful Clear to Go check. You can complete this via their app or online through your email. Your child's Clear to Go can be submitted 18 hours before the start of the school day. If your child’s symptoms change after submitting a Clear to Go entry, you can resubmit a new entry at any time (you do not need to wait for the last entry to expire).

Learn about our PTA and see how we connect and help out West Maple. At the beginning of each year, we raise initial funds for our school through ‘memberships’ in line with the Michigan and National PTA organizations. This is simply a structure for tracking general donations to our school and allows for each family to determine if/how they want to be involved any further. As a benefit of making a membership donation, you will have the opportunity to join meetings, make motions, run for the board, vote, and receive direct updates from our administration and teachers. That said, you do not have to volunteer if you donate.
Please click THIS LINK to access our Membership website.

West Maple Elementary: engaging and empowering all learners
for lifelong success.
Welcome to West Maple Elementary School!
We are proud of our success in creating an exciting, caring, challenging and happy place for our students to learn. We have a strong, collaborative relationship with our parents and PTA. Our goal is to work together to provide the students and faculty with a great variety of resources with which to learn and to enhance learning experiences for all students.
West Maple has access to extensive and varied technology, which is imbedded into the curriculum in all subject areas. Students have opportunities to develop academic skills at a high level, personal confidence, effective group and communication skills and an awareness of the world around them. West Maple is a community that promotes collaboration, respect and inquiry in a safe environment. We have a strong commitment to education our students about our environment and the needs of others less fortunate. We ask that our students conduct themselves responsibly, honestly, with kindness and respect.
If you are a parent of our community, and have any questions or concerns, please contact me. If you are considering having your child attend West Maple, I welcome you to visit our school for a personal tour. Please contact the school office, by calling 248.851.2667 to set up an appointment.
Sincerely,
Jason Pesamoska
