Jherrard Hardeman

Jherrard Hardeman, a 2015 Groves grad, appointed as the assistant conductor for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO).

Hardeman is an accomplished conductor who has worked with several orchestras across the United States, having served as a guest conductor for numerous orchestras including the New World Symphony, the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Sara Litkowiec

Sara Litkowiec's historic athletic scholarship signing spotlights the emergence of girls flag football at Groves High School. She is the first-ever female athlete from Birmingham Public Schools to sign an athletic scholarship in flag football.

Ian Weinberg

Ian Weinberg's entry-level book, Invest Early to Grow Your Wealth, simplifies and deconstructs the basics of investing into concepts that are more relatable for teens. He came to the realization that investing has been a space primarily utilized by adults for adults through adult language, giving off an impression that investing is strictly for adults.

Weinberg felt it was time to change the narrative of how young people receive insight and information about tactical strategies regarding investing.
